Daquan Tucker, 25, of Audubon, was killed from multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide, said Dr. Khalil Wardak, a forensic pathologist with the county Coroner's Office.
A bicyclist reported spotting "what looked like a body" in a wooded area down a steep embankment about 100 feet from the Schuylkill River Trail on the border between West Norriton and Norristown on Friday morning, said District Attorney Kevin Steele.
Montgomery County detectives and West Norriton police have launched a joint investigation, the DA said. Officials presently believe the victim knew his killer, and that his death "was not a random act," Steele added.
